Hello, my name is Deborah Integlia and I am the owner and founder of JulChris Cookies. I run my baking business out of my home here in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I am delighted you are taking an interest in exploring what JulChris Cookies are all about.

JulChris Cookies originated out of the enjoyment and satisfaction I have in experimenting with my own ideas of what a cookie should taste and look like. Most of my cookie creations come from childhood memories of soft and chewy chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodles, ginger molasses, criss cross peanut butter and English toffee. One of my favorites is my mother's shortbread, a very delicious, very rich butter cookie, lightly sweetened and uniquely thick. Through the years I have created my own additions to the cookies I grew up with and you can find out more about those when you look at what I have to offer under the cookie selections.

I would like to share with you a little about me, the one who will be baking your cookies. I am married, a mother of two and have been a stay at home mother for fifteen years. Through the years baking homemade cookies has been my creative outlet. My husband has been in the navy for fifteen years, during which he has been on numerous deployments. I could bake to my heart's content while the guys my husband was deployed with and my children and neighbors reaped the benefits. Creating and baking cookies has been a wonderful way of letting people know how much I care about them.

My husband is in the reserves now and Maine is our home for the many years to come. My cookies find their way to school functions now, sporting events, fundraising fairs, and to my church for fellowship hour. This past year I have been selling my cookies at the IGA, a local grocery store, and at the Two Lights General Store.

Today I would like to invite you to try my cookies, JulChris Cookies, named after my two children, Julia and Christopher. Each order I receive is made by hand individually and separately to ensure that you are receiving the most mouth-watering always homemade cookies you will ever taste; that's my personal guarantee! I never use preservatives, so your cookies will be shipped out the same day I bake them to ensure their freshness.
